Both The Buccaneer Inn and Ocean Explorers Diving are proud members of the award-winning Nanaimo Dive Association (NDA) which guarantees that you are diving with professionals. The NDA, and it's members are committed to protecting and enhancing the dive sites we use. Our spear fishing and harvesting policy is enforced to ensure that the marine environment is protected for all to enjoy. Our artificial reef program, wolf eel den enhancements, mooring buoy program and reef ball projects are part of our commitment to foster a better marine habitat for the fabulous 'critters' we have. For all members of the NDA, diver safety is of paramount importance. You can rest assured that the staff of Ocean Explorers' are some of the industry’s most qualified and experienced. The dive boats they use are Coast Guard inspected and certified. The equipment Ocean Explorers uses is rigorously tested and maintained to the highest standards.
